Damascus (DAM):  Location: 29 km/18 Miles SE of the City.  By Taxi: ~SYP 500/US$15 to the city centre. Takes ~30 mins. It is advisable to negotiate fares beforehand if there is no meter in the taxi. Fares double after midnight. There are taxi desks in the terminal as you exit arrivals.  By Bus: A bus service leaves the airport ~every 30 mins 0600-2000, and then hourly until midnight. It runs to Baramkeh in the city centre. The airport bus stop is on the right side of the entrance to arrivals. Cost: SYP 100/40 mins. 

Dep Tax: SYP 200 for Intl flights. Children under 10 and transits are exempt.

Amman - Queen Alia Intl (AMM):  Location: 26 km/16 Miles S of the City.  Airport Overview: 2 terminals, 1 & 2 situated close together, across the road from each other. Both terminals are almost identical with the same facilities on offer. The terminals are on a single level, with departures at one end and arrivals at the other. Buses and taxis call at both terminals.

Notes:	Taxis wait outside the arrivals area of each terminal. Make sure the driver uses the meter, or agrees a fare beforehand as there are reports of visitors being ripped off. Taxi fares within Amman are very cheap, with most trips costing JOD 2 or 3.

By Bus:
Sariyah Airport Express Bus to Amman:	Route: Airport (Terminal 1 - Terminal 2) - Abdali Bus Station, Amman. The bus makes on request stoips on the way into the city to pick up and drop off passengers. The bus passes by the Meridien and Marriott Hotels. Note: Transfer is possible at Abdali Bus station to buses travelling all over the country and beyond.
	Timings: Buses leave the airport every 30 mins 0700-2300, then 0100 & 0300. Buses leave Abdali Bus Station every 30 mins 0600-2200, then at 0200 & 0400. Travel Times: Takes 50-60 mins.
	Cost: JOD 1.400 Adult one way. Buy the ticket on board from the driver.

Airport Tax: Visas on Arrival: British, Australian, Canadian, USA & EU passport holders can get a single entry 1 month visa on arrival for JOD 10. only Jordanian currency accepted. Beirut - Rafic Hariri Intl (BEY):  Location: 8 km/5 Miles S of the City.  By Taxi: To the city centre ~LBP 30 000 or US$ 20. Be prepared for much argument to obtain a realistic fare. Lebanon Taxi, Tel +961 1 353 153 2, runs from the airport to anywhere in Beirut for US$15-20. Note from a traveller April 2007: It is easier to bargain for taxis upstairs on the departures level than downstairs on the arrivals level. I got a taxi into town for US$5 upstairs without a lot of bargaining. Luckily, I arrived in the afternoon and I think it would be harder to bargain late at night, although still possible upstairs. Downstairs there's a large sign on the wall which says the taxi fare is US$20 anywhere in Beirut or US$30 to points just outside the city.  By Bus: There are no official bus services bus from the airport. Older minibuses dropping off passengers upstairs on the departures level will take you to the Charles Helou Bus Station in Beirut for LBP 750 (under US$1).  Rental Cars: Budget, Catrans, EUROPCAR, AVIS, HERTZ, Elvis & Lena. To Larnaca:	Bus #19 To Larnaca bus station near St Lazaros Church. ~Every 60 mins 0620-1900.
	Bus #22 & #24 (Tel 24 657466) run between Larnaka (Ermou St) & the airport. Buses leave the city at 0730, 0830, 0930, 1130, 1230, 1630 & 1730.
Intercity buses 24643492-3/24722700 connect the airport with all major towns & cities in Cyprus & depart from the bus stop in the car park outside the terminal Mon-Fri:
To Nicosia:	0625, 0840, 1040, 1240, 1410 & 1540. CYP 3.50.
To Limassol/Lemessos	0740, 0940, 1240 & 1610.	To Ayia Napa	0940 & 1440.	To Protaras	0940 & 1440.
On Saturdays, all buses depart once only at 1330 excet for Ayia napa. on Sundays there is NO service.
